  2. I love the M16A4...as far as this blogger thing. I noticed with the so called intervention with Michael Yon a curious thing happening.

I don't know about you but I do this because I'm interested in the subject. Nothing more. But some of these guys are trying to shape policy and to use blogging as a way to get a seat at the table. I disagree with that point of view but boy is it out there.

Overall I think this is going to allow journalist to take bloggers less seriously. Policy makers will take these type of people less seriously. They're hurting there own cause.

Two of these type interventions in the course of a month or so? Something's going on...and I don't like it.

  3. Since we're OT (I'm not even gonna click those links)...

Anyone know what the Colt civi model equivilent to the A4 is (or closest approximation)? I see one in my future as a replacement to my A2 HBAR.

I'm having second thoughts about the 6920 and wondering why I just put an ACOG on order for it?!?

  4. P.S. Why no predictions on the Koreas, Solomon? Or did I miss that post?

Obama admin seems to need a history lesson or two (or fifty).

  5. Hey Resident Author.

On Korea, I'm holding my breath on that. I see too many chances for a serious miscalculation to occur. I really believe that could go bad real fast.

I like your weapons choices though. When TEOWAWKI comes you'll be ready. Oh and if you have to look that up you're not as cool as I think you are!

  6. I think I've got a lot more work to do. I need a larger cal rifle (7.62x51) and the few M110's out there are out of my price range.

I've been looking at Larue's OBR--the man knows how to build a rifle!

I just worry about the stock of M855 I have with the 6920. Sounds like I should have stuck with what I knew--full size barrel.

Too much want and not enough $$$!

  7. I feel your pain! God knows I feel your pain.

What do you use for an everyday carry?

  8. I've been watching the Koreas a lot too, and I agree I think it could go downhill very very fast. Especially with China refusing to take part in any sanctions.

  9. Funny story about that...

I picked up a P239 (.40SW) for the summer and the trigger return spring broke while my bro-in-law was shooting it on Sunday. ~220 rounds!!!

Yeah, they sure don't build 'em like they used to.

Otherwise it's one of my P226s (also .40).

  10. Resident Author.

Wow, I thought Sigs were damn near bullet proof. P239 is a nice weapon though.

    Chamberlin.

Yeah, you have idealist in charge of foreign policy instead of realist. I think our enemies are sensing weakness and they're doing what Biden predicted...testing Obama's mettle. My biggest fear is that there will be a time to choose between strength and capitulation...they'll capitulate and that's when N. Korea will strike.

    Time will tell.
