Via Australian Ministry of Defense. I tried 3 different labels to describe this vid. It ranged from Propaganda to After Action Report. I didn't know how to classify it other than a General being proud of his troops.
With all due respect to these troops - and I'm sure they're amongst the best - I'd bet good money that the Taliban are back exactly where they were before this operation. Either that or they simply moved and are carrying out their supply line support in another place. Time to go.
I also noticed that the Australian special forces aren't too proud to lug an M240 around. As an infantryman, when you really need to reach out and touch someone, you can't beat a medium machine gun with a 7.62 cartridge.
