Breastfeeding Airmen wrong...

via Air Force Times...
The Air Force has no policy on breastfeeding in uniform. But it does forbid airmen from using the uniform to advance the cause of an outside organization.
“The uniform was misused. That’s against regulations,” Kosik said. “I want to be very, very clear about this. Our issue is not, nor has it ever been, about breastfeeding. It has to do with honoring the uniform and making sure it’s not misused. I can’t wear my uniform to a political rally, to try to sell you something or push an ideology. That was our point of contention.”
This should get good.

The Air Force doesn't have the balls to actually punish these females (no service would...the Mothers of America lobby is too strong and the JCS is filled with momma's boys) but you can bet your last dollar that this won't be the end of it.  Like most advocacy groups...they won't know when to stop and I guess that they're attempting to recruit women from other services to be photographed in uniform in an effort to push this fake agenda.

  1. "Isn't it interesting that in the same year that Women are advocating for inclusion in frontline combat units that they're also emphasizing a uniquely female trait?"

well err no, surprise, surprise. an organisation that, highlights, "breast is best", has the message targeted, at a very large group of women? doesn't surprise me atall.

  2. If they made this an issue, some Senator would jump all over this threatening legislation.

Personally, I think certain groups are using the military as a testing ground to push all sorts of social agendas they couldn't pull in the private sector.

  3. i agree Drake1...they can see the writing on the wall....Obama is not going to be re-elected so they're trying to get all they can while they can. the thing to watch is gonna be the lame duck session. a lame duck Senate along with a lame duck President is gonna be something else.

    1. What does this comment have to do with the subject? Talk about pressing political agendas...for the record - I agree that what the women did was not right - and I don't think this will be the end of it either - there should be repercussions. Advertising your cause in any military uniform is against regulations and should be acted upon.

  4. It looks like one of the women was on the Today Show. Motherjones.com is linking this to the War on Women.

"In an interview with the Today show Wednesday, McCabe swatted aside the criticisms and said she'd pose for the photos again. More than that, she said, breastfeeding in uniform stands as proof positive that women can hack it in the most challenging conditions the armed forces have to offer: "If anything, it should make people look at you as someone who is able to multitask."

  6. "as proof positive that women can hack it in the most challenging conditions the armed forces have to offer"

If that means taking the kid to a warzone, the lass is nuts. If it doesn't, she's delusional.

    Take care
