This son of a bitch is lying his ass off!

This bastard is telling a bald faced lie and he knows it.  Whats worse though is that he believes Marines are still believing his bullshit.

Nope.

Nada.

Welcome to your Marine Corps.  I overlooked alot of the nonsense the current commandant pushed on MY beloved Marine Corps but as of today---fuck it.  I'll wait for the next guy and hope he can fix what Amos and his pappy Obama fucked up.  If the next guy can't fix it then trash it.  Better for the Marine Corps to have had a good run and fold up shop then to continue as a shadow of its former self.

  1. Yeah this is dumbshit..but I hope it forces the Corps to make a change regarding the infantry that's long overdue.

In recruiting, Marine Infantry always has a 6-9+mth wait list. Sounds awesome, so many hard chargers for x-many spots. Except many have no fucking business taking up those spots. If you don't have the luxury of waiting that long you have the option of a support job or go open contact.

    ...WHY??

If the Corps is serious that Infantry is the primary focus then it should make sure its slots aren't wasted. I think there should be no guaranteed slots to ITB, you should have to prove/earn your slot through a 1 day Indoc during the last week of Boot Camp, every recruit gets a chance.

Make it similar to the Recon Option for a poolee, your guaranteed a shot to try out you can't cut or you have the revelation that your not about that life then its open contract no harm, no foul.

You make that Indoc 24hrs of shit..dull & dirty! Humps, Land Nav, Immediate Action, & digging fighting positions. Not designed for studs as much as work horses.

    Problem Solved!

  3. Yeah long live MarSoc.

Everything on the Small Unit level the Corps wants to do with the infantry is Proofed by MarSoc then broken down at Marine Corps Warfighting Lab & absorbed into DO, ECO/CoLT, & EMO.

In the coming years you'll see MarSoc units pull Traditional Marine MAGTF's into fights & Ops they had previously been sidelined on.

A MAGTF similar to Task Force 58 who paired with SOCOM DA units (TF K-BAR) would rip a whole through Mali conducting Specialized Raids & denying freedom of movement through CAS & Distributed Operations.
