Mission Accomplished...congrats President Obama!

We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.President Barack Obama

  1. Why do the local authorities go along with Obama's militarization of our streets?
Do they not realize that they are mere pawns in his strategy to change America?
In time to come this unconstitutional force might be used against them as well.

    1. this crystallizing the gun control movment perfectly for me. crowd with no guns bullied. bundy ranch crowd had guns....police act properly.

but what everyone should realize is that this is being blamed on a bad cop shooting but its really about the economy in my opinion. we've seen bad cop shootings that don't explode ....add a terrible economy to the mix and you have this drama.

    2. With all this "ISIS will destroy America and bla bla bla" perhaps this is a good thing... Right?

    3. No the best way to fight terrorism is by the population. The military is trying to do it in A-Stan and tried in Iraq. The only problem in those countries is that everything gets mixed up by tribal shit. But the gov. Can't do everything for us, it ls much more effective to have the public be vigilant and fearless

    4. well said besstrd! i don't know how we got to a point where we expect some man that wears a badge but doesn't know us, has a family of his own...to protect us! the reality is that police are a deterrent to the law abiding and only to the law abiding. its up to each individual to deal with the wolf at there door.

    5. Got it... You guys are correct, using the population, makes more sense than militarizing every police officer in USA.

  2. Wow, this is what they use for some local riots ? This is not law enforcement. You send the professional riot police with the appropriate gear to to do crowds control, not uber armed military-like thugs.
Are those actually aiming their military carbines at civilians ? We live in really interesting times.

    1. you're spot on. extremely poor weapons handling. point your weapon only at something you wish to destroy. these guys need a basic 101 in probably everything.

  3. ....i think the USMC should sue since im sure they didn't ask permission to wear MARPAT.

This is such garbage, and only fuels the Pro 2nd for why they need weapons. Simple police doing the right thing would of stopped all of this. News Flash police in MO. Your not in Afghanistan, or Iraq. The people of your city arnt your enemy.

  4. What's the type of gas mask they are using. The visor looks good.

  5. Not impressed. Look how vulnerable they are. They aren't using any cover. Just out in the open like that. Very risky.

    1. against unarmed rioters? they need to replace the weapons with nightsticks, and huge cans of pepper spray. they're approaching a riot control situation like they're about to conduct a raid. its bad tactics. thats whats so unimpressive.

  6. Wow.

Brazil's military police is probably the world's most violent, and I don't see them pointing military hardware at civilians like that during a protest.

I am quite worried for you guys. If ONE bullet kills a protester, that might just be all it takes to make the country burn.

    1. well the proper comparison would be between your federal police and our FBI or US Marshal's Service. funny thing? they're filled with military guys but they only deploy the "kill gear" when they're going after criminal bad asses. against regular people its suit and tie or maybe a raid jacket.

these are local yokels that felt the need to play dress up and act like Marines in Afghanistan.

  7. How about more "what can we do to protect these citizens?" and less "this is going to go to shit, who do we shoot first?"
These people are pissed and need to blow off steam. Yeah, it could get ugly but showing-up heavy like this just adds fuel to the fire. NYPD has the right idea by showing up with mounted police and standing off but in a way that they are seen as a presence that can respond quickly to problems..
WTF is going on with these guys? The only thing missing is the SS on their unis and some German Shepherds on a short leash. Haven't we fought wars so we didn't have to live like this?
