ISIS shoots down Syrian attack plane.

via Jerusalem Online.
ISIS shot down a Syrian Army battle plane that was implementing attacks in the city of Raqqa, the capital city of ISIS. According to Agence France Presse, the plane crashed into a house and several people were injured.

After the initial reports, ISIS took responsibility for the act. The Syrian plane had implemented five attacks this morning against ISIS positions in Raqqa, before it was shot down by ISIS. In his twitter account, a terrorist by the name of Lions of Islam wrote, “Thank Allah, we can confirm that a military plane was shot down near Raqqa.”
“This is the first downing of a plane since the Syrian regime began to operate from the air last July, after an announcement by the regime in June,” Rami Abdul Rahman, a human rights activist, told AFP.
Well ain't that grand?

You might as well steel yourself to the fact that they WILL get lucky against a US warplane...or transport...or refueler...or recon plane.

Then what will happen after they murder the pilot on YouTube?

Will we waste another 10 years trying to turn around a barbaric and uncivilized section of our planet, while spending ourselves into even worse bankruptcy?  I believe this whole thing will end badly.

  1. It's going to end badly no matter what we do, or don't do. What the US really needs to do is decide whether fighting this group on the battlefield is in our national (not international, not globalist, not bankster) interests. Because there are other options.

When your cargo ship or tanker gets hijacked by Somali pirates near the horn of Africa, do you send a representative with the ransom money in a duffel bag to Mogadishu? No, you walk into an office in Europe and sit down with a white-skinned banker in a suit and tie. Payment is by check or money transfer. This suggests that that you could do more good by going after the money men than by deploying troops and ships to the horn.

So who’s bankrolling ISIS? Who’s processing and investing the cash/gold they’ve acquired in their conquests? Who’s advising them on logistics? Who’s running their PR?

Nobody asks those questions, because they don’t want to know the answers. But those are the most effective places to strike.

    1. Recently I saw a picture, ISIS with a bunch of new Toyota trucks, and I asked myself the same question you did... Why they don't backtrack these trucks to see who is supporting them.

    2. All muslims are nurtured with the idea that "West" is responsible for all the "suffering" in their lives. For this reason, they never can make actual self-criticism, realize their mistakes and learn from that - it happens to the state leader as it happens to the most simple civilian! They are attracted and mind-controled by religion leaders who launch threats against the West, promise them a "full of virgins Paradise" and easily transform them into brainless animals. This insane Islamic mind-control situation is rolling for thousand years and its not going to stop now by some aerial bombing.

Just a simple ascertainment: All the not-happy-with-their-lives muslims who migrate to "West", blame the Western life style of the "West" countries in which they have the opportunity to live happy.

Do the muslims live happily in Gaza? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Egypt? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Lybia? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Maroko? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Iran? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Iraq? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Yemen? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Afganistan? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Pakistan? No!
Do the muslims live happily in Syria? No!

So... what they do? Those who can, migrate to West to get a better living.

Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Australia? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in UK? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Canada? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in USA? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in France? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Germany? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Sweden? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Norway? Yes!
Do the muslim emigrants live happily in Denmark? Yes!

...actualy muslims live happy in every country that is NOT muslim and give them opportunity to live like humans instead of living like animals.

      And whom the blame?

      Islam? No!
      Their heir leaders? No!
      Themselves? No!

So, what they do? They blame, the "West" in which they live happily.

For ALL the above reasons, NUKE THEM FROM ABOVE. No hesitation, no mercy.

    3. Many were happy enough in Iraq before they were bombed back to the stone age and the ethnic cleansing started. Many were happy enough in Afghanistan before they had to worry about drones dropping surface-to-air missiles on random groups of people. Many were happy enough in Syria before we started funding the same barbarian extremists that we're now scrambling to drop bombs on. While still funding other groups connected to them.

But oh yeah, they hate us for our freedom or some other such asinine bullshit. No, they hate that we keep fucking them over. They're not going to get over that anytime soon, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't stop fucking with them.

      SandWyrm,

I disagree. Have you ever heard of "Westerners" to migrate in North Africa or the Middle East for a better life? Have you? I think not. On the other hand, thusands of North African / Middle Eastern muslims (potentional religion brainwashed fanatics) invade every week on Europe. I really do not have a problem to give the opportunity to someone to have a better living in a place (West) that offers him a better work, a better heath care, a better living as long as he respects the local Laws, the local comunity and the local lifestyle. After all, he came by his own will, right? If he doesn't like the "Western" lifestyle, he is always free to go back to his dusty little village-stan and his beloved goats. I also do not have a problem if he is practicing his own muslim religion lifestyle, as long as he respects all other "Western" people's choice to have a different life style. The problem starts, when all these North African / Middle Eastern religion brainwashed fanatic muslims, decide to turn their host Western country into a "dusty little village-stan" they used to live. The problem starts, when all these muslims, turn against "West" which gave them the privilege to live as people instead of living as animals. The problems starts when all these muslims, do not respect the local "Western" Laws and decide that its absolutely normal to rape a 9 yo child or get people stoned & beheaded just because their supperior muslim "prophet" said so.

To make it more clear, just imagine that some miserable dirty & poverty stricken guy knocks on your door during late night hours, asking for mercy & just a little food. After you feed him, wash him, give him a place to sleep, a job to earn his own money and the opportunity to change his life to better side, he starts demanding to change your "Western" lifestyle, your house "Western" decoration, he takes your place on your bed, he rape your "Western" wife (blondes are prefered - you see he only had sex with goats back in the dusty village-istan) and your children (no matter boys or girls - its all same) and finaly decapitate you in the name of Allah, because you are a "Western infidel" who did not respect their "prophet".

...so, what you do? Open the door or not? NUKE THEM FROM ABOVE

    8. And bringing this conversation back to the Plane getting shot rather than extending it to a "Gates of Vienna" rant-

Any news of the missile used to shoot it down ?

@Andre Pimenta- I dont think ISIS is paying for all the Toyota's that they are using. Just breaking into the nearest dealership and driving out with them.

Yes, I have heard of westerners migrating to the Middle East. I have one in my own family. She likes it in Qatar. She’s also white and not a Moslem.

In fact, there are westerners all over Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and elsewhere. Basically wherever bombs aren’t currently being dropped or revolutions fermented. If you think the middle east is nothing but stone-age goat herders, you need to get out more. Architecturally, it’s one of the most interesting places in the world to be right now, and those buildings are being designed by westerners who can’t get work building the postmodern crap that passes for architecture in the west right now.

As for those that come to the west from there, how many Syrians, Iraqis, Palestinians, Iranians, and others would be coming over here if their own countries hadn’t been bombed or their rulers overthrown by western powers? The various countries themselves are a completely arbitrary division (by France and Germany) of territory seized from the Turks at the end of WWI.

A united Arabia would have developed into a world power by now. One that wouldn’t have such an outflow of people fleeing the hell we maintain there. It would also have been a country grateful to the west for freeing it from Turkish rule. Instead of incensed at all that we’ve done to them since.

Keep in mind that WORKING (as engineer for example) for a short period of time, IS NOT migration there. I lived in Dubai, UAE for 18 months. Believe it not, I 've never liked it, never enjoyed there, never felt that I could stand their islamic culture & type of muslim living. Actually, I felt nice only when I was among Western-looking people, into our Western-built "golden cage" hotels, associated by our Western families, practicing out Western (infidel) type of living. As soon as I walked out of the luxury residence they provide for me and step on the sand (oh yes, sand!) the Middle Eastern islamic culture was "smelling" all around. Keep in mind that Dubai is nice only on TV. People think that its the "Middle East Las Vegas", the pride of the desert. Yeah right... Arabs are all same goat-f***ers. I am glad I was out of this nicely groomed sh**place and returned back in central Europe.

So, does a 18 months (working & living) experience in Dubai, UAE counts as some slight idea about "their" way of life? At least, I was lucky enough to live for short time in Dubai and not some other muslim-type goat village.

  2. Or far more likely, Syrian sub-standard pilot screws up and crashes, and ISIS takes credit after the fact.
The silver lining, as usual, is that's one less plane and pilot Syria has, not a bad thing in the grand scheme.

This has already turned out badly, and that will continue unimproved until at least late January of 2017.
Lack of leadership is always a strategic handicap for which nothing else can compensate.

  3. Apparently, our "coalition of the unwilling" member Saudi Arabia is helping our cause by arming Syrian fighters with surface-to-air missiles.

  4. Any plane that conduct 5 attacks on the same town deserves to get shot down. Bad tactics, bad planning, bad piloting, especially on an area with a known MANPADS threat

  7. I would like to inform you all that ISIS or IS (Islamic State) is not just an organisation, but an idea. The majority of Muslims look upon the idea of Islam ruling the world as an attractive idea, and it has been promoted in the Koran from the beginning.
Western civilisation can not afford to let IS survive and prosper or it will be knocking on the doors of Wienna and London and New York in a few short years. Mildly Militant Muslims are already in their millions in Europe and the US and it will be a short time before they start becoming more and more militant and become a danger to their adopted countries.
The problem is not only the extreme brutality of IS but the condoning of it by the silent majority of Muslims. Look how unenthusiastic the Muslim Middle Eastern countries, like Egypt, Turkey have been in their answers to John Kerry. None of them want to contribute to the war effort.
Of course it does not help that Obama has been giving the impression that the US is not very interested in going all the way. And it is impossible to destroy IS from the air. It must be done eyeball to eyeball and boots on the ground.
Apparently, IS has almost 30,000 fighters now and not 15,000 as thought a few months ago. And they will continue to grow and get more powerful.
As to who is supporting them? A lot of Saudi and Qatari money finds its way to them, and probably other Gulf states as well - like I said it is an attractive idea for the Muslim world.
When will they all wake up?

  8. "...A lot of Saudi and Qatari money finds its way to them, and probably other Gulf states as well..."

We all know, that the "Gulf states" are not the only "States" that sent lot of money during the last few years to support some muslim lunatics in order to play some role in the area. When you feed a snake, it is a matter of time before attacked and bitten by the snake. Whatever "States" has fed the snake, it is about time to exterminate it and bring order to this mess.

  10. Of course none of these Arabs coming to Europe would have anything to do with the lack of democracy, low living standards, low life expectation, failed economies, corruption and violence in their societies, lack of personal safety, dictatorial regimes, backward societies, low educational standards, etc.etc. in the home societies?
The Westerners going to these places have privileged status, high salaries and occupations, good living conditions, and they are not living like the ordinary people in these countries. That may be the explanation?
The Middle East/Arab countries are the most backward and failing societies on the planet and the only thing that saves some of them is the oil that is in the ground. They have nothing else to offer, except militant Islam, xenophobia, social strife and wars and conflict. The West has little to do with the loss of Muslim life - the Muslims are better in doing it to themselves. Look at any of these countries: Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Algeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan.
The Palestinians are the poor professional orphans of the world (the only people still receiving refugee status and relief from the UN after 65 years, when grandsons of refugees are still considered such after three generations). They can not agree on anything even among themselves, except the destruction of Israel. And they consistently chose self destruction as against compromise and peace over the years, while Jordan and Egypt have made some kind of peace with the Jews.
So, if you think it is good for a European to go to the Middle East you are most welcome.
