    2. Yeah. In Siberia it is not rare thing when people freeze to death. Because of my stupid head I’ve frostbitten my hand. And once it almost costs to me my life or health- my fingers had gone sleep and I misused a fuse….

    3. What is the most funny... this is a Vladivostok... a fraking PACIFIC port! :D Or to be more precise Sea of Japan.

Nah Sol' many try to invade Russia, some were successful some were not. Marshal Frost and General Mud many times stand with people of east but also it stand with enemy's of them or people who are familiar with it. Poles, Lithuanians and Cossacks, Swedes or Mongols, also generally speaking Nords... the nations that were familiar with colds fight in Russia on equal terms.

But when you send there French, he he they are too soft to fight in that climate. Germans were better but still, not ready for that. If you don't understand or ignore Marshal Frost he will defeat you, not Russians, not anyone there...but simple climate will kick you in the balls and drag you through frozen land. Russians will just move after Marshal and mop up the rest.

You need to respect both "commanders" and they will stand with you. Ignore them and you will end like everyone else before you.

    4. Wow. Has anyone ever served on a ship when it is in conditions like that? Will the weapons systems and all the electronics even work? I'm getting cold just looking at it.

    10. Well, it didn't help the Germans that they lost 6 weeks with a detour into Yugoslavia and Greece. Or that their dear leader was obsessed with taking a city with no real strategic value instead of the oil fields to the south.

  2. I Don't envy the guys that will now have to hammer the ice from the decks.

This has to be done regulary to prevent ship form capsizing

  4. There's a reason why Russia has built the world's only NUCLEAR icebreakers.

Russia has been successfully subdued during winter--the Mongols...since then, not so much.
