The Commando Helicopter Force gets a new "Junglie"...images by POA(Phot) Mez Merrill

Story here.  Time will tell if the Merlin proves to be as capable as the legendary Sea Kings they're soon to replace.  Somehow I doubt it but we'll see.

    Well, I know why but still... it would be such good replace for Mi-8/17 helos.

    1. poland dont have the money to buy ultra expensive eurocopters.. they should just accept the US goverment second hand helo instead.. with all those covert US/CIA units in poland, it can be considered a form of payment for polish goverment's silence.. like , rendition site ?

  2. Maybe maybe not Mi-8/17 hellos at least work are low maintenace ,while for example well off German millitary has problems keeping operational NH90, Tiger ,CH-53 etc

    1. I put my faith in the AgustaWestland... too many problems with NH90 or too much cash for Airbus ones.
