Did you see Mark's email from yesterday? Well, Donald Trump won again last night, this time in Nevada. And while a number of his party's leaders are trying to figure out whether or not it's too late to stop his nomination, we need to start preparing for it.And then we had this after Trump won in S. Carolina...
Ninety percent of Americans support closing loopholes in our laws that allow dangerous people to buy guns. If we can turn those people out in November, we can elect a president who will move our cause forward -- and we will save lives. And thankfully there are few better messengers than Gabby and Mark on this issue.
Contribute $3 to Americans for Responsible Solutions PAC today and we can elect a president who will act to save lives from gun violence. You can do that here.
Thank you for standing with Gabby and Mark.

On Saturday night, Donald Trump won the South Carolina Republican Primary. He took every delegate. And he also leads in almost every Super Tuesday state. At this point, it's pretty safe to say he is the Republican front-runner.Trump has the establishment on the right and left going bonkers. But just like Cruz seems slimey I do have one disturbing thought about Trump.
So it's time to start considering what his victory would mean for our movement:
On his first day in office, Donald Trump vowed to overturn President Obama's executive actions including his recent action to make our communities safer from gun violence. "The good thing about an executive order -- I walk in, sign, I don't have to go through Congress," he said.
He also believes that the answer to gun violence is more guns, an idea that has been thoroughly debunked.
Here's the truth: whoever the nominee is from each party, we need to elect a president who will continue President Obama's leadership on gun violence prevention issues. It's important. This is about saving lives. That's why it's Gabby's and my top priority for 2016:
Just like Obama, we're getting grandiose ideas but little substance. In short we don't know what the guy wants to do outside of some really broad outlines.
This leads me to a really disturbing thought. How close are we to electing an American Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin or Tojo?
NO! I'm not saying that Trump has that potential. What I am saying is that what if the next person elected fails as badly as Obama and drives the divisions in our country even wider? Is it implausible to think that we could beg for a strongman to make it right. Could our democracy elect a dictator or emperor?
