SU30MKI + Brahmos Missile equals a long range fighter with a high speed anti-ship missile therefore the most formidable anti-ship package in the world?

Thanks to Sarabvir Singh for the link!

The first carriage flight of Su-30 MKI aircraft with BrahMos missile was successfully achieved on Saturday, in Nashua.
HAL chairman T Suvarna Raju said in a statement issued in Bengaluru that this was the "perfect example of Make in India and an engineering marvel in aviation history of India. It proves that when all agencies come together with one mission, there is nothing like impossible."
He pointed out that this unique programme was taken up by HAL as an indigenous challenge at its Nashik Division and the required data was generated without the assistance of OEM for the modification.
As rough as I believe things will be in the next conventional ground war, the naval battles will be a sight to behold.

You're going to see a high tech dogfight that will be unheard of in human history.  Its a real shame that the US Navy took its eyes off the prize for so long during the war on terror.

Their ability to keep sea lanes open has been severely degraded and the idea of SU-30 being able to carry Mach 2.8 Brahmos missiles at distance to launch against a widely distributed fleet or even US warships that are operating independent from the fleet means that we will take some huge hits.

A flight of SU-30MKI's with Brahmos missiles could be the most formidable anti-ship package operating today.

Women's MMA is getting interesting...This juice monster named Cris Cyborg is talking shit.

Above you see a pic of Cris Cyborg.  I'm no medical doctor but I do have experience with weights.  Google her.  Look at her pics.  This chic is so fucking conditioned that she has a split bicep!  Look at her neck!  At her face!

She is SOOOOOO juicing!

But back on task.  Check this out from the Washington Post.
UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate thinks that “it would be really cool to fight” Cris “Cyborg” Justino. The latter agrees — and would love to square off at UFC 205, the company’s first event to be held at Madison Square Garden.
Tate made her comments at a recent media lunch. “I think it would be really cool to fight Cyborg, honestly,” she said (via MMA Fighting). “I’d like to really see what it’s like to be in there with someone with her power.”
“I’ll be the first to admit, physically I think I would be at a disadvantage, but I think that I can be the one to prove that I have the heart, the durability, the determination and the will power — and technique — to overcome that kind of challenge,” Tate added. “And that intrigues me. That would be very rewarding to me.”
Meisha Tate is the chic in the photo above.  Quite honestly she has the type of physique that would win in Women's Physique but against Cyborg?

She's gonna get CRUSHED!

The intriguing thing is that Holly Hom is an afterthought now.  Holly caught Rousey, Tate caught Holly and now Cyborg is gonna destroy them all.

The curious thing is that the UFC is all over Male fighters for steroid use but they're letting Cyborg go (Holly has a bunch of pics around the net saying that she's using too).

Women's MMA will never be as huge as the Men's game but it is becoming quite interesting...at least for now.

Will the UK remain the US' most "important" partner? Will the "special" relation survive or be worth saving?

In light of the UK's exit from the EU a few disturbing questions must be asked....

1.  Will the UK remain the US' most important partner?

I'm not sure.  The US has already indicated that its trying to pivot to the Pacific.  In that region Australia, Japan and S. Korea are much more important than the UK could ever hope to be.  India, Singapore, and the Philippines are also higher on the rung than the UK.

2.  What about in the Middle East and Africa?

Again, I'm not sure.  The French and Dutch have more enduring relationships in the region.  Even Germany with its arms sales is as consequential as the UK.

3.  Will they retain their seat on the UN Security Council?

You can see a vigorous argument being made that the current model for the Security Council is outmoded.  China, France, the UK, the US and Russian Federation makes it a Euro-Centric organization.  I personally could see another country replace them.  An easy argument could be made for India (Pakistan would howl) because they're a fast growing economy and have a huge population not to mention independent.  Either way I predict that you will see fights over their inclusion on the Security Council and instead of even France keeping its seat you'll probably see a restructuring with the EU gaining a seat and the UK being kicked off for another country.

4.  Will they stay with the F-35 program?

Again not sure.  What I do know is that costs for them just ballooned.  Best scenario is that they get a massive cut in the order.  Worst case for the F-35 is that they prioritize domestic production and push for an Advanced Typhoon.

5.  What about the UK Armed Forces as a whole?

For better or worse the UK will turn inward.  I expect a TREMENDOUS fall off in deployments and for a time a "Fortress UK" being erected while they sort this out.  Foreign entanglements haven't been positive in the past and will be worse in the future.

6.  Ok, we've heard your warmup, give us the pitch!  Will the special relationship survive?

Doubtful.  The UK just gave up its most important bargaining chip and value to the US.  Acting as a moderating force for the US in the EU.  The EU will probably face the same troubles as the UK.  A serious turn inward, and a risk adverse attitude toward foreign adventures.

In summation this is a watershed event.  Globalization has taken a massive hit with this vote.  Everything from economics to foreign relations will change because of it.

USMC statement on Iwo Jima flag raisers..Neller gets this one right.

via USMC Press Release.
The U.S. Marine Corps has concluded that a previously unknown Marine is in the iconic flag raising image taken atop Mt. Suribachi during the battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.
Researchers working on a Smithsonian Channel documentary about AP photographer Joe Rosenthal's iconic image approached the Marine Corps months ago to consider their theory that the identities of the flag raisers are incorrect.

The Marine Corps' commandant, Gen. Robert Neller, formed a review panel to consider all available images, film, statements and previous investigations. That panel and the commandant came to the same conclusion: that one of the six men in the Rosenthal photograph was misidentified. The Marine Corps now believes Navy Pharmacist's Mate 2nd Class John Bradley was not in the Rosenthal image, but was involved in the initial flag raising hours before the famous photo was taken. Based upon the evidence reviewed, another Marine, Private First Class Harold Schultz, from Detroit, Mich. was the sixth man caught in the frame of what is considered the most famous war photograph.
"Our history is important to us, and we have a responsibility to ensure it's right," said Neller.

"Although the Rosenthal image is iconic and significant, to Marines it's not about the individuals and never has been," according to Neller. "Simply stated, our fighting spirit is captured in that frame, and it remains a symbol of the tremendous accomplishments of our Corps -- what they did together and what they represent remains most important. That doesn't change."
Awesome.  So a couple of historians changed the names involved, but missed the bigger point.

I'm glad that Neller gets it....with this Administration, this DoD, our current SecNav...I wasn't sure he would.

Drinking As You Get Older In The Military

This guy is hilarious.  Check out his channel here.

First victim of the UK vote? F-35/military will be cut.

The first victim of the UK vote?  The F-35/military will be cut.  The short term pain will be acute.  The stock market, EU and globalist will  see to that. So its a given that the UK will have to cut its military forces.

You're watching history folks.  Drink it in.  The ramifications of this vote are still being digested but the defense sector will be one to watch.

What do I see happening?  The F-35 will be cut drastically.  We're probably looking at Dutch numbers now.  Those aircraft carriers?  One will probably be put in dry dock or sold as a cost saving measure.

My point is that the UK's entire defense structure is about to change.

UK votes to leave the EU. Told ya so!

The UK voted to leave the EU.

Told ya so!

This was so easy to see.  The average citizen in most Western countries is in a hurt locker.  Globalization, irrational trade treaties, and illegal immigration has the guy on the street freaking out.

This is also why Trump will win this fall.  Consider this a "soft" revolt in the UK and one is coming to the US too.

Pass the popcorn.  This shit just got real.

NOTE:  Read the comments on this one folks.  I am amazed at how people are trying to turn this into a non-issue.  We're seeing the start of a push-back against the establishment and everyone is trying to downplay it!  Why?  You're seeing a major part of the globalization scheme going down in flames.  This is ABOUT THE EU!  This is ABOUT BRUSSELS!  This is ABOUT AVERAGE PEOPLE LOOKING AROUND AND SAYING NO MORE!

Perhaps more importantly (repeating myself) this is a nail in the coffin of the TPP.  Its also an early indicator of the US election and a signal to get ready for a world wide recession.

Kurds obliterate a Turkish 155mm Self Propelled Gun w/anti-tank missile

Thanks to Info Infantry for the link!

Why does this keep happening to Turkish forces?  I really don't get it. They should be running active patrols, but instead we see these brazen attacks in broad daylight.  Just wow.

Black Civil Rights Leaders turned Congressmen is joining with racists in the gun control debate.

I'm still spinning that Congressman Lewis would allow himself to be used in the gun control debate.  I'm infuriated that they would sing "we will overcome" while disrupting the House of Representatives.

I respect my elders and I honor the work that he did during the Civil Rights movement but I am offended by the contention that this is part of that (It also irks me that every pet project for liberals is deemed a "civil right"...that is insulting to people that actually suffered).

But the biggest issue is that where once Whites sought to keep weapons out of the hands of Free Blacks, we now have a President and Black Leaders that are attempting it.  Check this out...
Racist arms laws predate the establishment of the United States. Starting in 1751, the French Black Code required Louisiana colonists to stop any blacks, and if necessary, beat "any black carrying any potential weapon, such as a cane." If a black refused to stop on demand, and was on horseback, the colonist was authorized to "shoot to kill." [1] Slave possession of firearms was a necessity at times in a frontier society, yet laws continued to be passed in an attempt to prohibit slaves or free blacks from possessing firearms, except under very restrictively controlled conditions. [2] Similarly, in the sixteenth century the colony of New Spain, terrified of black slave revolts, prohibited all blacks, free and slave, from carrying arms. [3]
In the Haitian Revolution of the 1790s, the slave population successfully threw off their French masters, but the Revolution degenerated into a race war, aggravating existing fears in the French Louisiana colony, and among whites in the slave states of the United States. When the first U. S. official arrived in New Orleans in 1803 to take charge of this new American possession, the planters sought to have the existing free black militia disarmed, and otherwise exclude "free blacks from positions in which they were required to bear arms," including such non-military functions as slave-catching crews. The New Orleans city government also stopped whites from teaching fencing to free blacks, and then, when free blacks sought to teach fencing, similarly prohibited their efforts as well. [4]

It is not surprising that the first North American English colonies, then the states of the new republic, remained in dread fear of armed blacks, for slave revolts against slave owners often degenerated into less selective forms of racial warfare. The perception that free blacks were sympathetic to the plight of their enslaved brothers, and the dangerous example that "a Negro could be free" also caused the slave states to pass laws designed to disarm all blacks, both slave and free. Unlike the gun control laws passed after the Civil War, these antebellum statutes were for blacks alone. In Maryland, these prohibitions went so far as to prohibit free blacks from owning dogs without a license, and authorizing any white to kill an unlicensed dog owned by a free black, for fear that blacks would use dogs as weapons. Mississippi went further, and prohibited any ownership of a dog by a black person. [5]
Entire article here.

Make no mistake about it.  There are some racists that would balk at the idea of me having the armory that I have.  The infuriating thing is that many Black Leaders join in solidarity with them on that issue.

Arms guarantee freedom and safety.  I will not be a victim at the hands of any man.
